Our opening speaker Mark Pesce set up the day describing the future trends which fund executives and leaders need to navigate and the first panel session tackled how these impact the future of fund investment. Rebecca Engel brought Microsoft’s experience in AI to set up a panel discussion around the future of member engagement and Inventium’s Charlotte Rush provided insights into the future of work for a panel discussion around workforce and organisational design.
Naomi Edwards, Chair of AICD, provided invaluable perspectives from the board and the day concluded with Professor Geoff Martin from Melbourne Business School who leading a discussion around strategy with the industry’s future leaders from the FEAL/MBS Emerging Leaders Program.
It was empowering to hear from our guest speaker, Tristan Knowles AOM, captain of the Australian Men’s Wheelchair Basketball team over the Members’ Dinner following the Conference, before he heads to his 6th Paralympic games.
