Charting the future: TelstraSuper’s and CSC’s strategic approach to a sustainable retirement proposition – RIC case studies

Retirement is the new frontier of superannuation. Over the next decade, the number of retirees with a super account will more than double, with an estimated 2.5 million Australians transitioning into retirement. Superannuation has a pivotal role in securing members’ retirement futures and will be a crucial differentiator for funds seeking to attract and retain members. In this session, revisiting their own journeys, TelstraSuper and CSC provided insights into the realities of designing and implementing a simple and scalable retirement income offer for members to address retirement risks and maximise their income. Valuable insights were gained into the strategic steps taken, lessons learned and the determining factors, including financial advice and other forms of guidance, that are essential for member take up and future success.
