The Michael Dwyer Leadership Scholarship was established in 2019 to support the development of an aspiring superannuation fund executive in Australia. This scholarship enables an outstanding executive to attend the Executive Colloquium at The Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership, a six-day intensive programme. The Executive Colloquium explores and questions ethical frameworks and dilemmas raised in selected philosophical, economic and cultural texts; from ancient classics to contemporary news.
Congratulations Norlena Brouwer, Group Executive – Risk and Compliance, Hostplus winner of the Michael Dwyer Leadership Scholarship 2019.
Sydney Executive Colloquium running 20-25 October 2019
The Executive Colloquium brings together twenty leaders from the highest levels across many sectors to grapple with ethical challenges and explore frameworks for responses. Using the Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership’s distinct method of shared enquiry, this is a rare opportunity for critical reflection in a private environment among peers.
The Executive Colloquium offers a leadership course unlike any other. Participants will be challenged, be able to crystallise arguments core to their decision-making stemming from two and a half millennia of philosophical thought, and spend a week immersed in respectful debate about what they stand for, and what they will allow. Our expert team refines and shapes our ethics courses to reflect the realities of the contemporary business and political environment, and the challenges facing senior leaders.
For leaders ready to really explore what their position, and their stakeholders, require of them, this is a professional and personal investment in their future.
Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership is celebrating 25 years of cultivating ethical wisdom in leadership for over 4,500 senior executives. The network of alumni includes some of Australia’s most connected leaders.
