We invite you to hear from industry experts as they discuss this topic and how superfunds can help support their members to better mental health.
Specialists from Best Doctors will share their insights along with Sean McCormack, Chief of Group and Retail Partners, MLC Life Insurance and Margo Lydon, CEO from SuperFriend.

Sean McCormack was appointed Chief of Group and Retail Partners in March 2019, after serving as the company’s Chief Customer Officer, Retail Insurance. Prior to this, Sean was Chief Operating Officer, responsible for Operations, Technology and Enterprise Program Management Office. In this role he was the executive sponsor for the program to replatform MLC Life’s technology systems as part of the divestment from NAB.

As a part of his role as Chief of Group and Retail Partners, Sean is responsible for driving a new combined function which focuses on bringing all customers and partners the full benefits and scale of our distribution, technology and innovation capabilities.

Margo Lydon is the Chief Executive Officer and Company Secretary of SuperFriend – Industry Funds’ Mental Health Initiative. SuperFriend is a workplace mental health and wellbeing organisation advocating for, equipping and empowering profit-to-member superannuation funds and insurers to achieve mentally healthy workplaces for their staff, employers and members. Actively supported by the Partner Group Insurers and Superannuation Funds, Margo’s work intersects with the Mental Health, Superannuation and Life Insurance Industries.

Margo has more than 18 years’ experience in mental health and suicide prevention. She also has an extensive background in leadership, business management and marketing. She has been instrumental in driving the strategic growth of SuperFriend.
