Previous recipients

The list includes...

  2008: Anne-Marie Corboy, HESTA
I am very honoured and flattered to receive this award. It is however a tribute to the fantastic work of the HESTA Team and great strategic leadership from the HESTA Board.

Ann Byrne

2007: Anne Byrne, ASCI
This award gives its recipients a fabulous opportunity to further develop their skills and knowledge to ensure that member’s interests are paramount. Opportunities to take some time to think and develop your skills for busy people are rare and so I look forward to both investigating and implementing the opportunities that the generous grant allows.

Paul Watson

2006: Paul Watson, MILITARY SUPER
I undertook a Leadership Development Program at Harvard Business School. This was instrumental in accelerating my understanding and application of strategy, marketing, finance, accounting and operations. I came away from this experience with actionable lessons and strategies that could be put into practice within my organisation. I am very grateful to FEAL and AMP Capital Investment for the opportunity.

2005: Neil Cochrane, Colonial First State
I attended the Swiss based IMD Orchestrating Winning Performance program. The course was an important reminder that great business decisions are the result of good common sense and a strategy of empowering people. Networking with those in diverse industries from around the world was an added advantage. This award and the study opportunity have been highlights of my career.

2004: David Elia, HOSTPLUS

2003: Steve Gibbs, PSS/CSS

2002: Rosemary Vilgan, QSuper
With the scholarship provided by FEAL and AMP I was able to explore the area of behavioural finance through attending a symposium at Wharton School of Business. I was very excited to bring back to Australia, key learnings about why financial decisions aren't always rational and share this information with other superannuation fund executives.
