FEAL NATIONAL CONFERENCE SPEAKERS
Our opening speaker at this year’s National Conference was Associate Professor Rufus Black, Master of Ormond College at Melbourne University. Professor Black is a strategic advisor and ethicist. He brings together the unusual combination of a deep academic background in ethics with practical experience across the private, public and social sectors. He addressed the issue of trust in our society both at the corporate and the personal level, and how we earn trust through ethical behaviour.
We were excited to have Rachel Botsman as a guest speaker at this year’s National Conference. Rachel is an author and the global authority on the power of collaboration and sharing to change the way we live, work, bank and consume. Rachel designed the world’s first M.B.A course on the collaborative economy which she teaches at Oxford University’s Saïd School of Business. In her work with universities, entrepreneurs, corporations, and governments Rachel examines the growth and challenges of start-up companies with a focus on technology’s impact on trust and relationships.
We were delighted to have Don Luke as the closing speaker at this year’s National Conference. Don is well known to the industry as the former CEO of SunSuper, current Chair of QIC and is widely respected for his humble and genuine approach to leadership. He addressed the conference on building trust through a strong and positive culture.
